Solaragate Footwear Size Guide
Every Solaragate pair is made to order with our own house-original all-over-print designs, so getting your size right the first time means less waiting and fewer returns. This guide explains how Solaragate sizing works, how to measure your foot at home, and how each style tends to fit. Take two minutes here before you order and your sunny new pair will feel right out of the box.
All Solaragate footwear is listed in US sizes. If you normally shop in EU, UK, or centimeter (CM) sizes, use the conversion table below to find your match.
How to Measure Your Foot
The most reliable way to choose a size is to measure your foot length in centimeters, then match it to the chart. Measure late in the day, when feet are at their largest, and measure both feet (use the larger one).
- Place a blank sheet of paper on a hard floor against a wall.
- Stand on the paper with your heel touching the wall, wearing the socks you would normally wear with these shoes.
- Mark the paper at the tip of your longest toe (this is not always the big toe).
- Measure the distance from the wall edge of the paper to your mark, in centimeters. That number is your foot length.
- Repeat for the other foot and use the longer measurement.
Measuring Tips
- If your measurement falls between two sizes, size up for a more comfortable fit.
- If you have wide feet or high insteps, consider sizing up by half a size, especially in closed styles like high-tops.
- Keep the pen straight up and down when you mark, so the measurement is accurate.

Fit Notes by Style
Different footwear types fit a little differently. Here is how each Solaragate style tends to run so you can choose with confidence.
Canvas Sneakers (Low-Top & High-Top)
Our classic canvas sneakers run true to size. Order your normal US size. If you are between sizes or plan to wear thicker socks, choose the larger size. For high-tops, allow a little extra room if you have a high instep.
Mesh & Running Sneakers
Mesh running styles also run true to size with a slightly flexible, breathable upper. Order your normal US size; size up half a size if you prefer a roomier athletic fit or wear cushioned socks.
Slides & Sandals
Slides and sandals tend to run small, so we recommend you size up, especially if you fall between sizes or have wider feet. A slightly larger size gives your foot room to sit comfortably on the footbed without overhang.
Flip-Flops
Flip-flops fit close to true to size but lean toward a snug, narrow profile. If you have wide feet or want a more relaxed fit, size up half a size to a full size.
Indoor Slippers
Slippers are made in size ranges (for example, a single pair may cover a small span of US sizes rather than one exact size) for an easy, cozy slip-on fit. Check the size range listed on each slipper product page and choose the range that includes your usual US size. If your size sits at the top of a range, the next range up will feel roomier.
