We want you to love every step you take in your Solaragate footwear. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to make it right. Because every pair is made to order especially for you, please read this policy closely so you know exactly what to expect, what’s covered, and how to start a return.

Our 30-Day Return Window

You may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. To qualify, items must be returned in the same condition you received them:

  • Unworn and unwashed — not worn outdoors, with clean soles and no signs of use.
  • In their original packaging, including any box, dust bag, inserts, and tags.
  • Free of damage, odor, pet hair, or alterations.

Returns requested after 30 days, or for items that show signs of wear or washing, cannot be accepted unless the item is defective, damaged, or incorrect (see below).

How to Start a Return

Starting a return is simple. Please use either of the two options below, and our team will guide you through the next steps:

  1. Email us at support@solaragate.com with your order number, the item(s) you’d like to return, and the reason for your return.
  2. Use our Contact page form, including your order number and return details, and we’ll follow up by email.

We typically respond within 1 business day. Please wait for our written approval and return instructions before sending anything back, so we can make sure your return is processed correctly. Returns sent without prior approval may be delayed.

Who Pays for Return Shipping

Because Solaragate footwear is made to order just for you, return shipping costs depend on the reason for your return:

Defects, damage, and mistakes on our end are always our responsibility, and you’ll never pay shipping to resolve them.

Defective, Damaged, or Wrong Items

If your order arrives defective, damaged, or different from what you ordered, we’ll make it right at no cost to you. Please contact us at support@solaragate.com within 30 days of delivery and include:

  • Your order number.
  • A clear description of the issue.
  • Photos showing the defect, damage, or incorrect item (and the shipping label/packaging where relevant).

Once we review your photos, we’ll arrange a free replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer. Photo proof helps us resolve your case quickly and improve quality for everyone.

Refund Method & Timeframe

After we receive and inspect your returned item, or after we approve a defective/damaged/wrong-item claim, we’ll process your refund to your original payment method. Refunds are issued within 5–10 business days of approval.

Please note that your bank or card issuer may need a few additional days to post the refund to your account. Original shipping was free, so there’s nothing to deduct there; for change-of-mind returns, only the customer-paid return shipping is non-refundable.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene, safety, and the made-to-order nature of our products, the following generally cannot be returned for a change of mind (defective, damaged, or wrong items remain fully covered):

  • Items that have been worn outdoors, washed, or show signs of use.
  • Items returned without their original packaging, tags, or inserts.
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery.
  • Returns sent back without prior approval from our team.

A Note on Made-to-Order Footwear

Every Solaragate pair is printed and produced after you place your order through our vetted production partners. This is why we ask you to choose your size carefully before checkout — our size guide is on each product page, and our team is glad to help you pick the right fit before you buy. Production and handling take roughly 2–7 business days, with total estimated delivery of 7–15 business days (some routes up to 20). Standard shipping is always free.
