Every pair we make is crafted to bring a little sunlight to your step, and we believe you should know exactly what to expect from the moment you order to the moment your shoes arrive. This page explains how our made-to-order process works, how long shipping takes, what it costs, and how we handle the occasional delay. We keep it clear and honest so you are never left guessing.
Made-to-Order: How Solaragate Works
Solaragate is an original, own-label footwear brand. Our house-original all-over-print designs are made to order, which means each pair is produced specifically for you after you place your order, through our vetted production partners. We do not keep finished pairs sitting on a shelf. This print-on-demand approach reduces waste and lets us offer designs you will not find anywhere else, but it does mean your order needs a short production window before it ships.
To set expectations clearly, we separate the two stages of your order: production (handling) time and shipping (transit) time. Your total delivery estimate is the two added together.
Production & Handling Time
Because your shoes are made just for you, production and handling typically takes 2 to 7 business days from the time your order is confirmed. During this stage your design is printed, assembled, and quality-checked before it leaves our production partner. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays.
Shipping & Estimated Delivery Time
Once production is complete, your order is handed to the carrier and shipping begins. Transit time depends on your destination. The total estimated delivery time (production plus shipping combined) is:
- 7 to 15 business days for most orders.
- Up to 20 business days for some regions and more remote routes.
These are estimates, not guarantees, and the timeframe begins when your order is confirmed. Most orders arrive within the standard window; occasionally, factors outside our control (see “Possible Delays” below) can extend it.
Shipping Cost
Standard shipping is free on every order, with no minimum spend. All prices on Solaragate are shown in US dollars (USD). The price you see is the price you pay for the item; there is no separate handling fee. The production time described above is a timeframe, not a charge.
Regions We Serve
Solaragate ships internationally. Wherever you are, you can order our footwear with free standard shipping. If your country or address cannot be served by our carriers, you will be notified before any charge is finalized.
Order Tracking
You will receive an order confirmation by email as soon as you check out. Once your order has finished production and ships, we will send a second email with your tracking number and a link to follow your package. Please allow a short time after the shipping notification for the tracking information to update with the carrier. If you have not received a shipping notification within the production window above, contact us at support@solaragate.com and we will check on it for you.
Customs, Duties & Taxes (International Orders)
For international shipments, your order may be subject to import duties, customs fees, or taxes charged by the destination country. These charges are determined by your local customs authority and are not included in your item price or collected by Solaragate. As the recipient, you are responsible for any such fees. Customs processing can also occasionally add time to delivery. If you are unsure about charges for your country, we recommend checking with your local customs office before ordering.
Possible Delays
We work hard to meet every estimate, but some situations are outside our control. Delivery may take longer than usual during:
- Peak seasons and major holidays, when carrier and production volumes are high.
- Customs inspections or clearance on international orders.
- Severe weather, carrier disruptions, or other unforeseen events.
- Incomplete or incorrect shipping addresses (please double-check your address at checkout).
If your order is running noticeably past the estimated delivery window, please reach out to support@solaragate.com. We will track it down, keep you updated, and make it right. If a package is confirmed lost in transit, we will arrange a replacement or refund.
Damaged, Defective, or Wrong Items
Every pair is quality-checked before it ships, but if your order arrives damaged, defective, or is not what you ordered, we will make it right with a free replacement or refund. Please contact us within the return window with a photo of the issue. Full details are in our Return & Refund Policy.

Your order is placed through a secure, SSL/HTTPS-encrypted checkout. We accept major credit and debit cards through a trusted third-party payment gateway, and no card data is stored on our site. You can shop with confidence.
